An Appeal

This institution was established in the year 1962. Some elderly and enthusiastic and energetic people of this area held a meeting in that year and took a decision to start an educational institution. It was named Vidyabhivruddhi Sangha. With the beginning of the High School, started many new responsibilities and new requirements. In the year 1982 this school obtained permanent recognition from the government. At the same time, our institution felt the necessity of starting a P U College in this area. By that time a rule was in force. According to that rule a newly started college should remain a permanent un aided college. Therefore our institution could not seek any assistance from the government. As such it was not an easy task to mobilize required fund to start a college. In spite of these difficulties, our institution with a complete and elaborate planning succeeded in mobilizing fund just enough to start the college, in the year 1996. Thus came our Roopashree Arts and Commerce P U College into existence in the year 1996. It has completed fourteen academic years and stopped into 15th years. In order to fulfill the requirement of computer knowledge to the students and the rural folks of this region, Shedthikere Pandri Narayanappa Computer Center was established in the year 1997. Now the commerce students of our P U College, 10th standard students of our High School and some people of this area are getting computer education in this computer center. In the year 2002, Sharadha Sangeeta Shale was started for the lovers of music of this area and at present 35 students are learning music. From next year onwards we are going to start a first grade degree college.
With all these achievements behind it, our institution is aimed at achieving much more in future. We are very proud to say that many institutions generous donors, many people of the surrounding villages and old students of our High School are mainly responsible for our success and achievements. In spite of all these achievements, our institution feels shortage of certain infrastructure to provide qualitative education. Therefore we humbly request you to generously contribute to our institution so that we can provide better education to the students of this region. Our Institution has obtained 80G concession from the IT Department.
